Thank you very much for sending my warranty, following brown envelope shortage!
I know that I told you when I spoke to you on the telephone but I felt I must drop you a few lines to tell you how delighted I am with my beautiful ‘Figaro’. It gives me enormous pleasure just to look at it, but when you actually drive it, it is pure joy!

The only problem is I think I should be on The Grande Corniche in the South of France, with the roof down, a headscarf on and a long cigarette holder à la Audrey Hepburn – complete luxury.

Thank you very much for the car, I promise to look after it, aided by Noddy and Big Ears (they sit on the back seat).

Wednesday p.m. 26.7.06 and it’s going well – although I don’t think I’ll even master the burglar alarm system!
My husband is totally converted and thank goodness he’s stopped talking about the smart car! He’s going to reimburse me for this – so that’s an additional bonus.

It’s certainly attracting a lot of interest as I buzz around London and even the druggies, drunks and homeless sleeping in doorways in The Strand get out of their duvets and stand up and cheer as I go by!!

Just a quick thank you for all your help with my Figaro (esp. the little mishap!)

I really have never enjoyed a car as much (and that goes for the folks next door too). It’s become a local celebrity already. Everyone is amazed at the great condition it’s in (minus repair job Derek) – of course they think it’s 50 years old!

It’s really part of the family now and I wouldn’t swap it for anything.

Hello All at Derek champion figaros.

My husband and i would just like to say that Roger (thats what we have named our little figgy) Is absolutly wonderfull. We love it. After looking around we finally found our dream car. It turns so many heads when we drive around town.I have found that i cant have a bad hair day whilst driving roger around.

Anyway hope you are well. We will be in contact when roger needs his first service. Have a great Christmas And a fantastic new year. Thanks again.

We contacted Derek Champion Figaros because of a recommendation.My wife fell in love with the pale blue Figaro. It was a little to far to drive to London to vist Derek Champions. Richard described the figaro to be in A1 condition inside and out. And told us what extras it came with. ie central locking ect ect. We had never done this before. Buying a car without even looking at it. However when The car was delivered we were both so very pleased with how beautiful it looked. My wife has now insisted that we have a garage built especially for the figaro.
We would both like to thank Richard for everything. And we will certainly recommend your company.

Hi there Richard
Just to let you know we arrived last night after starting The Journey on Saturday afternoon – an early ferry across to Caen and down to Le Mans, Tours and the Loire valley for an overnight and then across the France to Switzerland to arrive Monday evening. The Figaro drove over 1000kms like a charm. We avoided most highways and stuck to the D roads which was beautiful and almost private – the car likes 110km per hour. And we LOVED it. We got lots of attention from curious by passers and when we stopped. Just a wonderful wonderful experience… It is just perfect for us and just the recipe for a getaway journey for a couple – no room for kids J
